Leider passieren auch uns manchmal Dinge, die nicht so schön sind. Jedoch stecken wir den Kopf nicht lange in den Sand, sondern lernen daraus und ziehen unsere Konsequenzen.
Bei uns wurde eingebrochen und eine größere Menge Bargeld entwendet. Aus gegebenem Anlass und um uns und unsere Mitarbeitenden zu schützen, haben wir uns entschieden ab sofort nur noch bargeldlose Zahlung im Försters anzubieten.
Wir haben die Vor- und Nachteile gründlich abgewogen und für uns überwiegen ganz klar die vielen Vorteile:
✅ Nachhaltigkeit – Bargeld muss gedruckt, transportiert und versorgt werden
✅Sicherheit: Kein Anreiz für Einbrüche und Überfälle auf dem Weg zur Bank
✅ Hygiene
✅ Abrechnung um ein vielfaches einfacher
Letzteres ist wohl einer der Hauptaspekte, denn so können wir unsere Zeit wieder dem widmen, was wir hier im Försters am meisten lieben – euch einen guten Service und einfach leckere, vegane Hausmannskost zu servieren.
Wer uns kennt weiß, dass das Leitbild unseres Restaurants von Toleranz und Diversität geprägt ist. Wir möchten mit dieser Entscheidung niemanden davon ausschließen in den Genuss unserer Küche zu kommen und hoffen auf euer Verständnis.

Dear Försters – Friends,
Sometimes bad things happen. But we keep our heads up and take the consequences. There was a robbery in our restaurant and a lot of cash has been taken.
We took this instance as a reason to decide to accept only Non-Cash payments as of today. We discussed all pros and cons in depth and decided to take
this messure for our own safety and for the security of our employees.
✅ sustainability: cash needs to be printed, transported and handled
✅ safety: no chance for robbery either in the restaurant nor on the way to the bank
✅ hygiene
✅ much easier accounting
Especially the last point is the most important for us, because we will have a lot of more time to do the things we love most – cooking for you and giving
you a great time while enjoying our services.
Anyone who knows us is aware of that the philosophy of our restaurant is
characterized by tolerance and diversity. With this decision, we don’t want to exclude anyone from enjoying our food and drinks and hope for your understanding.
